Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. Just outside of all the busyness and commotion but close enough to dining and national park to be convenient. The cabin was just the right size for us. Decorated cute and very clean. "Shane's place was AMAZING and exactly as advertised (including photos). As others have stated, top marks for the view out the two patios overlooking the valley and clear view of the Smoky Mountains. We loved having our morning coffee or evening glass of wine (or other) overlooking the mountains. Three bedrooms with full bathrooms, great family/tv/game room downstairs and nice open space main floor. Lots of great (bear inspired) decorations and plenty of comfy furniture to lie around and chat, or watch tv or simply look out the back windows at the views. AND......black bears do wander thru the site on a daily basis - we didn't see one until the last day (right outside the main entrance door) but the neighbors stated they passed thru every day/evening. Also, Shane was very responsive to any questions I had. Overall, a very strong 5 star rating and we have indicated to Shane that we will definitely come back to this log cabin next year."

We had a little trouble with our gps locating the cabin at first because of all the turns but after arriving no more trouble. There were five of us and the cabin felt more than spacious. "Our mini vacation was amazing we did so much. But we also did a lot of relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub every night! The cabin was literally amazing. We had a pick up truck so it was a little hard to maneuver but also that could had very well been my anxiety!!!!! We had hope to see a bear before we left and boy did we! We were literally loading up the car to leave home and there was a 400 pound bear next to our truck some of us were outside loading the truck. We reactivated very quick and everyone got back inside very quickly. We watched the bear take off in the woods. We got what we asked for and more! What an amazing experience!!!!!!!"

"We had a wunderful stay with a family of 4, with teens in July. This place is beautiful -in and outside. We felt home immediately and had plenty of space and the hot tube was in daily use. There are plenty of activities nearby (Of what we mainly used several of the hike trails and the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, what we can also recommend to any visitor interested in that topic. A little less favorable was the community pool area. The place had almost no shadow before 3pm, w/o sun shades and the sanitary installations were in somewhat poor condition."

"The cabin was exactly what you see in photos and a great price for what you get. Enough room for the entire family and the second deck was a nice surprise. The night veiw was great too. The house was pretty easy to get to and the roads arr in great shape. Pool is a bit small but it was never busy the entire week we were there so it worked! Justin was very quick to respond to questions. We plan to return"

"Our family of 9 loved our stay! Everyone was comfortable and had their own space. Shane/Justin was very helpful in sending out information/tips leading up to and during our stay. Luckily, everything was perfect so we did not have to reach out for anything. Check out was the easiest that I’ve ever dealt with, which we were thankful for. You get great views without the tricky drive up. (a part of our group did travel in a handicap van which would bottom out leaving and entering the cabin just a heads up for others traveling in something similar but our other vehicle had no problem) This is my third stay in Gatlinburg/Sevierville/Pigeon Forge area and it was one of our favorites! I really enjoyed the convenience to get into town, only a 7ish min drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Would definitely stay here again!"

"MILLION DOLLAR MOUNTAIN VIEW ~ breathtaking ~ Beautiful scenery & beautiful clean cabin. Shane & Justin were perfect hosts & we would definitely stay again. Saw baby bear the first day we arrived & mama bear the last day! A little tricky to find but perfect location & close to Gatlinburg & Smoky Mountain National Park! Highly recommended Cherokee Restaurant for great steak & seafood ~ a little pricey but great food & great service!"

"We had an incredible experience staying at this cabin in Tennessee for our first visit to the mountains. We stayed as a family of six, with four kids ages 2-9. After comparing cabins, we selected this one for its stunning view, hot tub, spacious layout, and carpeted stairs - which were a bonus for our young children. The entire cabin was immaculately kept. The size and beauty of the cabin was even more impressive in person and the views were breathtaking even outside of the fall season. Although the winding mountain roads initially intimidated my husband, he quickly became accustomed to them after a few trips to town. This cabin is much easier to access than others we considered. Be sure to stock up on groceries before arriving as there is a drive to the nearest store. Despite having a neighboring cabin, the layout ensures privacy. The high deck made us nervous with the kids, but the patio doors have double deadbolts. The communication from the hosts was exceptional! Thank you!!"

"Fantastic property! The location is a few minutes outside of Gatlinburg in a peaceful log home community. Unobstructed mountain views from the balcony (and all three levels of the house) are amazing and exactly as pictured. Surrounding homes are close by, but we had no issues with noise. Parking is a little tight in the shared driveway, but we managed with our minivan. We had no issues during our stay, but hosts are responsive to questions. Would definitely stay again!"

"Perfect Stay! - I searched for weeks trying to decide on the perfect cabin for myself, two kids 7 and under and grandparents 80+. I set my expectations high as this trip was really important to us. I’m so glad I decided on this one. The view is breathtaking, all three bedrooms have visible views of downtown lights and the mountains from the bed. Having a bedroom on the entry level is great for elderly and easily accessible. You feel out of the city, but you’re still a short drive and even in delivery service area. (We doordashed pizza from PF) At the bottom of the hill, across from the Shell gas station is a great park for kiddos, we called it the hidden gem. We overall loved our trip there. We had a hiccup with the door, we received timely and friendly calls and messages to make sure it was quickly resolved. The cabin was clean, the hot tub and outside were too. I definitely recommend!"

"We had a terrific stay in Shane's cabin. The view from the decks (yes, there are two) are extraordinary. You can see across the valley to Anakeesta, which provides for picturesque scenery at night. The view of the mountains is unobstructed and vast. You will love deck time. The interior of the cabin was very nice, and the beds and amenities were quality as advertised. Our kids loved the lower level with the large TV and games. Access to the cabin is pretty straight forward. We've stayed at many of these, and I'd rate the difficulty of the grade as quite manageable, despite the significant height and climb. We had no problems with our minivan. The location is very close to downtown Gatlinburg, so quick excursions into town are very doable. In summary, great cabin and great hosts. We will definitely try to book this place again for future trips to Gatlinburg."

"Place is extremely cozy! Kids loved the theater room and adults enjoyed the jacuzzi and great wine on the porch. The views were amazing and breathtaking! Justin was extremely responsive even late at night. Everything we needed was there for us, for ex... clothing iron, hangers, extra toilet paper, and extra blankets. The experience was memorable and we will definitely come back and highly recommend them!"

"The cabin and hospitality was great! The view is out of this world and the porches offer two levels that made it really hard to leave to go do so many activities! Shane and Justin were both super helpful from check in and house things to offers coupons and recs for the area. We were able to cook dinners easily in the kitchen and had plenty of room. "Christmas Vacation in Smoky Mountains - The cabin was in a great location with amazing views. My two boys really enjoyed the hot tub that was outside and the room that was in the basement which was pretty big. What was the most important to me was the fact that Justin had great communications skills and would respond right away when I would email or text him with any questions. There were only four of us, but 8 people can easily stay at this house. I definitely recommend it."

"We stayed here for four nights , super nice and cozy. It was well cleaned and set up when we arrived and had plenty of necessities like glasses, plates, towels etc. Both porches along with the window in the loft have great views of the mountain. Hot Tub was definitely a relaxing part of our stay. The location is very convenient as it is close town but not on top of everything. Overall great experience!"
