Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.
Kitchen & Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.
Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

"The stay was wonderful and we even got to see some bears. Fresh water stream right down stairs to enjoy nature. Everything was clean and spacious and had plenty of games to play as a family. "Justin was very helpful and responsive and the condo was the perfect place for our family of 4. It was close enough to downtown and all of the activities, while still giving us the mountain cabin feeling. The layout was perfect so everyone had their own space and bathrooms and it was just big enough without being overkill or too large of a place for us. We did have a bear in the driveway so please follow the instructions/tips regarding local wildlife. We tried to use the clubhouse and pool a few times without success, so it may not be the best idea to count on that as an activity if you have kids that would get upset. Overall a great stay and we would book the condo again if we return to the area."

"We rented Justin’s place for 2 nights for skiing at Ober Mountain this past January, and the location couldn’t have been better. The front gate to Ober is less than 5 minutes away. Check in was very easy and all of the amenities were as described. We especially liked the very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 2-night stay. You also can’t beat the mountain views. Justin was a very responsive host and answered all of our questions promptly before we checked in. He also helped us fix a minor hiccup when we got there. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Ober Park, which is a huge plus because you can skip the nightmare traffic to enter the park. Walking there was a breeze and made the experience so much more enjoyable.The property itself is gorgeous—a true cabin vibe with all the charm you’d expect in the mountains. It’s just a few minutes away from all the main tourist attractions, yet it feels tucked away and peaceful. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. However, if you’re like me and enjoy extra comfort, I recommend bringing additional blankets and towels if you’re driving.Overall, this is a perfect spot to create beautiful memories in the mountains. "Justin is an amazing host. He was very understanding and compassionate, even with a booking error and very responsive throughout. Even at 3 am when we couldn’t figure out how to get in. The condo was perfect in every way. (If you think an outlet doesn’t work… just look for a switch). We loved everything about this stay. My sister’s family (Florida) and mine (Texas) met up at this condo for our brother’s wedding weekend. It was big enough to accommodate all 7 of us. It kept us close but not suffocating. Enough sleeping space where we all slept great. Would totally return in the future. We also had many bear sightings… so that was exciting."

The chalet itself was very clean and cozy, nicely decorated and plenty of space for our 4 person family. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was off season. The chalet is conveniently located to all of Gaitlinburg’s attractions and the National Park. It only took us maybe 10 min down the mountain to get to the sites. Took us only 20 min to get to Pigeon Forge. One thing to note is there isn’t any service up in the mountains so make sure you have all the instructions to get inside the chalet downloaded. The chalet comes with a starter pack of toiletries, dish washer pods and detergent, which was the perfect amount for our weeklong stay. We also saw bears during our stay so that was pretty neat. Highly recommend driving through the National Park, it is so beautiful! We loved our stay and will probably book again when we come back."

"Great Destination - This condo was perfect! I traveled with my husband and two 8 year old boys. The setup worked well for us. There was tons of space to move around. Parking was easy, since the condo has an assigned spot. The highlight was the proximity to Ober Mountain. I was shocked when the GPS told me a 12 minute walk. We literally walked 3 minutes, to the park shuttle. The location really is close to everything that we needed during our stay."

"We loved our weekend getaway at Ober in the Smokey Mountains! We were so close to Parking Lot #3 we really could’ve walked. Super cozy cabin style condo, gorgeous Master and TVs in all the spaces (great for kids)! WiFi worked well and was needed, as there is not much in the ways of service up the mountain. Justin sent us a coupon book which was soo nice! We ended up cooking in and ordered Pizza from Smokey Mountain Pizza Co one night which was delicious! I lived theat the kitchen was stocked with a crockpot and air fryer. Don’t forget to bring your own K-cups! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 5 stars!"

"Phenomenal place - A great place to stay if you are visiting the smokies. The chalet is close to Ober mountain, <10 min drive from Gatlinburg. In a peaceful location, in the woods, reasonably priced, and spacious enough for a family of 4+ to stay comfortably. Has all the necessary amenities in the kitchen, bedroom and the living room. Has a great patio with a space heater and view of the woods. Justin is very responsive and helpful if you need anything. Would stay here again the next time we visit the area and would recommended it to anyone."

"Comforts Of Home - I truly enjoyed our 5 night vacation here with my husband, 2 young boys and mom. The rooms are spacious with lots of closet space, nicely decorated and most everything you need is readily available. Both beds were very comfy and we all slept well. Nice updated appliances and cookware in the kitchen. Big screen TVs with easy to use Roku and games in the enclosed porch. Convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge pretty high up on the mountain with gorgeous views driving to and from. We would stay here again! We saw a bear family while on the sky bridge at Anakeesta which I highly recommend! Dollywood was a blast and our favorite restaurant was The Old Mill."

"Excellent Service! - The hosts of the house were amazingly helpful the entire time, responding promptly to any questions and even giving us a booklet they put together of local activities! The master bedroom was great and the living room was an awesome place to spend time together. During my morning meetings, the sunroom was the perfect place to go and the electronic fireplace was a great way to stay warm. The pictures make it look a little bit bigger than in real life and there's a couple chips in paint on the wall, but that was not an issue at all for us. The price is more than generous and the hosts were extremely kind when we could not get the dishwasher to work (which was actually just in rinse mode the entire time). A great stay!"

"What a wonderful experience - 1st time staying in an Airbnb - will never stay in another hotel for more than a night or 2. Everything you needed was there except the food. Parking was spacious - room for your car without parking or a huge hill or steep incline. Just a short ride to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & the National Park. Would definitely stay with Justin again!"

The chalet was a perfect fit, with the 2 bedrooms (with very comfortable beds) and 2 bathrooms. We loved how close it was to the Smoky Mountain National Forest. "“The Hallmark Condo” ❤️❤️❤️ - This condo seriously looks like it belongs in a Hallmark movie! It gives your vacation the perfect cozy mountain retreat to come home to in the evening.
We did have a little bit of trouble figuring out which building the unit was in because the GPS directed us to the wrong building. It was dark when we arrived, and this wouldn’t have been an issue during the day! The appliances are all new and really nice. (I jokingly said I needed a PHD to work the coffee pot! ) The master bedroom was gorgeous and huge, but heck, EVERYTHING was gorgeous! It doesn’t have a Mountain View if you are looking for that - it sits write on Ski Mountain Dr in a wooded area. It is literally 1 minute to Ober from the unit.
You will NOT regret booking this unit!! Gorgeous!!!"

"Justin’s chalet was AMAZING. The location was perfect and the pictures were spot on with what you get. The house was very clean and stocked with anything and everything you could need, especially in the kitchen! The check In process was very simple. To top it off, Justin sent multiple messages throughout our stay ensuring all of our needs were met, and offering multiple suggestions on things to do. 10/10 recommend staying here! "I’m not sure how many properties Justin manages but he definitely makes you feel like top priority. Responses are always quick and polite. When we had issues with the pool pass he quickly rectified the situation and had someone drop it off for us while we were out. And the team working the community pool/game room are top notch as well! Everyone was so wonderful to deal with while we stayed in Gatlinburg. The Chalet was so cozy and inviting; had all the amenities you could ask for and was really close to all the shops without being in the hustle and bustle of the city. It fit all seven of us comfortably. The kitchen has really nice, updated appliances even though we only used the single coffee maker (it did however seem off calibration to fill the cup properly, but it made coffee and that’s all we really cared about. I didn’t bother Justin with that because honestly he couldn’t make the coffee pot make the correct amount.) My partner and I stayed in the loft room in the king size bed (I think it’s on the firm side and has a topper on it) and I slept so well that I didn’t even want to leave the bed. The pillows were firm and I didn’t even have to use two stacked together because the firm one never lost shape or went flat on me. The shower was a little tricky because it would only get warm if you put it straight up/towards the cold side and not when you moved it towards the ‘H’. We figured it out though! My mom loved the pullout couch in the patio room and the bed on the main floor. The kids slept in the living room on that pull out couch (not much of an update because they’ll sleep anywhere), but they seemed to enjoy it. Everything was really clean and the decor wasn’t too over the top that you felt like you had to tiptoe and not touch anything. It felt like home."

"I can’t say enough good things about our stay! The location is close enough to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge that nothing seemed too far out of the way, yet we were removed enough to be able to relax and enjoy the mountains. The accommodations were perfect for our family of four. Our kids were quite impressed with the clubhouse/pool. The kitchen has new appliances and made it easy to cook in when we felt like it. We had plenty of room to spread out and chill, watch movies, or play games (provided by our hosts). This was a great alternative to staying in a hotel and will likely do it again. Our hosts were professional, courteous, kind, ensured we had all that we needed, provided valuable resources and info about the area, and have made a lovely vacation home."

"Comfortable getaway in the mountains - We really enjoyed our stay at this Chalet in the mountains! The place was just far away enough from the main strip to be secluded, but just close enough to still be convenient to drive to. It was very clean and had great amenities. There was a crockpot and an air fryer in the kitchen! The game room is very cute and perfect to just relax and look out the window. The main bedroom upstairs was very comfortable. I am 7 months pregnant and was able to sleep comfortably on the king size bed which had a nice foam topper on it. Justin was extremely responsive any time we had a question. Highly recommend this place!"
