Smoky Mountain Mansion is an AMAZING cabin with 180 DEGREE VIEWS of the Smoky Mountain area that have to be seen to be believed. Smoky Mountain Mansion is perfect for families and groups, with 8 private bedrooms and the ability to sleep up to 26 people. Wow! And unlike many Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge cabins, it is PERFECTLY located just 1.5 miles from Dollywood and 2.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway.
For the younger folks in the group (or young at heart!), there is PLENTY to do at our cabin as well! Our family's favorite include the indoor community swimming pool, just down the street, and the billiards table in the game room. But that's not enough for a cabin like this! We also have a full sized foosball table, an air hockey table, and a standup arcade cabinet with a handful of the old classic games like Ms. Pac Man.
There are 11 flat screen TVs covering every bedroom and common area. Each TV is equipped with Netflix, YouTube TV (for local Knoxville channels), Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. You will need to sign in with your own accounts to access these streaming services, ensuring plenty of entertainment options if the mood strikes. The main living room is similar to your own private media room, with a high end 10' projector in case a bunch of folks want to take in a game or movie.

The cabin itself is appointed just as you'd hope and is massive in both size and charm. As you walk into the front door, you're greeted by the open living and dining space perfect for board game nights and family meals. And just open the patio door and the views are yours alone to take in. And the cozy kitchen has just about everything you need for your stay -- a Keurig and a coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, blender, crock pot, microwave, iron and board, and more. And the cabin has TWO sets of washers and dryers in case your large group has laundry to do. Just bring any food you want, store it in the pantry or one of the two refrigerators and you're all set. There are also two outdoor charcoal grills, perfect for steak night!

When you're done relaxing in Smoky Mountain Mansion, the entire area is chock full of things to see and do. Head to Great Smoky Mountains National Park for a long hike and keep your eyes peeled for wildflowers, white-tailed deer and even the occasional black bear. If it happens to be rainy, climb into your car and take a drive through the park for glimpses of historic buildings dating back to the 1800s. In either case, pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it.
Dollywood is the beating heart just 1.5 miles away and has something for all ages, whether it be amusement park rides or fun live entertainment. Gatlinburg Golf Course is there if you have a desire to get in a few holes. But most don't know that there is a Harrah's Casino a short drive away in Cherokee, NC. And of course you can ski at Ober in Gatlinburg as well as Cataloochee Ski Area in North Carolina if you want to get some half decent shredding action.

GETTING AROUND THE AREA The entire Smoky Mountain area is very hilly (After all, it IS the Smoky Mountains!) so do yourself a favor and download an offline map in your Google Maps program. This will let you navigate to our cabin and around the area even if you don't have cell coverage. Neat, right??!
To do this, it's easy:
1. Open the Google Maps app and log in. 2. Search for Pigeon Forge. Zoom in/out so that the map you see contains everything from Gatlinburg on the bottom to Sevierville on the top. Don't be afraid to zoom way out because it'll get everything in between.
3. On iPhone: Tap the name, tap More.., select Download Offline Map > Download On Android: Tap the name, select Download, click Download
We strongly recommend you come with your car as that will give you the freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains area. As you already know, we offer free parking spots.
You generally wont need to have 4wd for the cabin as the roads are well maintained.
NEIGHBOURHOOD OVERVIEW The cabin is situated just outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Its remote location affords views of the gorgeous mountains including Mt. Le Conte in the distance, which is the large peak in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The mesmerizing natural surroundings are a great way to relax after a long day¦ And Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge nearby offer plenty of attractions and places of interest for you to visit.
Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.
Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.
Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

"We stayed as a large family group. There were 17 of us from 9 months old up to 83. This house was PLENTY but for everyone to even have some space to themselves and places to get quiet or down time. The house does show age for sure. The worst was a very wobbly railing on the third floor balcony. We kept everyone far away from it. The mattress in bedroom 4 was the most uncomfortable I think I’ve ever slept on. The rest of the beds seemed fine and no one else complained. The large screen and projector made family movie nights a lot of fun! The view is amazing. We saw two bears right around the cabin so be really careful with trash/food! "We had a great time! The cabin was very clean & linens were spotless. All the beds are super comfortable. Hot tub water was crystal clear. The kitchen is small & shows significant wear & tear but there were more than enough dishes, glasses and utensils. Justin responded promptly to our requests for an additional sauce pan, repair of the broken 1st floor washer start button, and attention to the slow drying 3rd floor dryer. Be aware of the wild life! We saw bears walking the neighborhood every morning. An unwelcome raccoon visited us on the 3rd floor balcony the first night. The location couldn't be better, less than 2 miles to Dollywood and 15 minutes to grocery stores! Make sure you know the resort entrance gate code in addition to the cabin door lock code before you arrive."

"Great house for family gatherings - The Smoky Mountain Mansion is a nice size for large groups. The main level living/dining room provided space for our family of 20 to all be together. The porches and additional living areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors allowed for smaller gatherings. Everyone enjoyed the two hot tubs! We appreciated having two refrigerators and ovens. The volume of pots, pans, dishes, silverware and other kitchen items was among the best we’ve encountered in a rental home. We reported a few issues and (host) promptly responded and sent someone to assist. Unfortunately, some of the things we had to call about should have been caught during routine cleaning and/or maintenance. Broken toilet seats, a non-working washer/dryer, and ants should have been noticed and addressed before we checked in. Additional towels (barely 1 per guest provided) and bath mats would have been appreciated. Our biggest concern was the overall cleanliness of the house. There were cobwebs and other things that showed the home only receives superficial cleaning. The floors, while swept, did not appear to have been mopped or otherwise cleaned in a long time. Within a few minutes of walking around inside, we noticed the bottoms of our feet were very dirty. With small children playing on the floor, this was disconcerting. Repair & routine maintenance, additional towels/bath mats, along with a deep cleaning of the home would make renting Smoky Mountain Mansion an even better experience."

"We really enjoyed our trip to Justin’s house!! It was a nice space for our group. The only concern was that the air condition did not work on the bottom floor, and even though Justin worked hard to fix it, it was not done by the end of the trip. Overall though, it was a nice stay!"

"This cabin was great for a 70th birthday celebration for 14 of us. We all had a bedroom AND a bathroom!! Eating area can accommodate 20 People easily. Kitchen is a little tight but it does have two full size refriferators. Ample parking for 6 plus cars. Although we did not partake this location is SUPER convenient to Dollywood, Splash Country and countless other recreational activities. The view is very nice and the place was really quiet (except for my birthday party)."

"Our group of 19 had a great stay at Justin's place and would definitely rent this house again. I loved how much seating was in the living room and the dining room. "Justin is an excellent communicator and always kept me up-to-date and answered my questions in a timely manner. There was a minor snafu at check-in that was no fault of Justin's, but he made sure we were taken care of. Our check in went smoothly. The "cabin" is fabulous. My family loved the accommodations and all the activities and games for the kids. There are two refrigerators in the kitchen, which was great for us, since we prepared most of our meals for 12. There is a huge overhead projector screen TV, which was perfect for us guys watching the bowl games. At the end of our stay my family members all commented on how perfect were the accommodations and location. It is 5-7 minutes from the Dollywood parking lot, so is a great location if you are going to Dollywood. Yet, it is off the main drag, so you are not fighting traffic. It is definitely a "keeper" and we would gladly return for another visit."

"Just went on a cabin trip with a large group of friends and family and the cabin looked like how it’s pictured. It is a nice and spacious cabin with lots to do inside. It feels very home-warming. Everything is so close in range between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The host is amazing. He is very nice and responds very quickly when you have a question or concern. "Perfect for our group - We had a great stay! The space was perfect for our group of 5 famiies. We had a total of 19 people mix of kids and adults and we never felt crowded. Beds are comfortable and for such a big house it stayed comfortable and cool. The only thing that i would say would be helpful was if the trash was removed more often. Because of wildlife the trash cans are in cages and when we arrived they already had trash in them. By day 4 they were full and during the week we were there it was never collected. Not sure if that is normal or not. However, Justin was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had and I would absolutey recommend this property."

"Great cabin, great location - The cabin is described accurately in photos and room details. The kitchen was small lacking ample counter space but it’s vacation and you should be eating out. We cooked a few meals because of three infants but two refrigerators and double ovens helped our stay. Tremendous view from all three decks and plenty of parking room. "Views and Location! - Great cabin in a great location. Very convenient to Dollywood and all Pigeon Forge attractions; short trip to Gatlinburg.
We were 11 adults (including 7 aged 60+) and 1 child. Everyone enjoyed the amenities: pool table, huge TV in living room, 2 hot tubs (very clean), gorgeous views. The beds are comfortable, there's plenty of common area space for relaxing, and parking was ample for our 5 cars. We appreciated having 2 refrigerators and 2 ovens. We also put the two charcoal grills to good use.
A main reason we chose this cabin was its ramp entry and one bedroom on the main level, which was a must for one in our group who uses a walker. Neighborhood where this cabin is located is quiet and feels safe.
Will say that the kitchen, which is a 'one cook at a time' space, could use a few new frying pans, mixing/serving bowls, and new toaster.
Justin is a very responsive host. Would definitely rent this cabin again."

"We loved our stay! The view is amazing, we loved the two hot tubs, the first floor worked great for 5 families sharing the house. There were only minor issues with the AC (surprise heat wave!) but Justin responded immediately. The only feedback we had were minor cosmetic details. Looking at the neighborhood I don’t think another house would have worked for our group. You can’t see or hear anything from the outdoor deck space and we would definitely come back!"

The place decorated with a great taste, different games available for entertainment, very clean cabin and very inviting. The water was very hot, 2 hot tubs on separate floors added to the overall fun. Huge screen in the main living area is a plus. Communication with the host was a bliss. Gated community with easy access/gate code. Dollywood and Gatlinburg were withing 10-15 min drive where you could experience tons of attractions, great restaurants, skilyft, glass bridge, walking at night with millions of lights on the main st, etc. Coming after Christmas season was a great idea to avoid all the crowds. Definitely recommend to reserve Justin's and Kari's cabin and create unforgettable memories."

"Lovely Family Christmas in the Mountains - My family of 15 spent Christmas at this cabin and everything was lovely. The cabin, in a nice gated community, is just like the pictures with incredible views. Our family arrived from all over and there was enough parking for all 6 cars in front of the cabin and the home was spacious for every one of all ages to spread out during our stay. Since we were there for Xmas the cabin interior was decorated - tree, garland runners, etc..- which was a huge highlight. Additionally the communication with the property manager host was great - I could count on Justin responding within an hour leading up to and during our stay - very reassuring. The only area of concern that my family had was the size of the kitchen - the pictures do not deceive, its the most underwhelming/undersized aspect of the home. I would suggest planning your meals ahead of time to coordinate the shuffling required to function in the kitchen with more than 2-3 people. Overall our family agreed that we would highly recommend staying at this property."

"Home away from home - When I say pictures does not describe the cabin. OMG. The cabin was so amazing and huge. 2 hot tubs, a movie theater, huge master suites, yes, suites. The views were spectacular from every angle. My kids didn't even want to leave the cabin and go site seeing. Not only was the cabin amazing yuh baby bear the price. We did karaoke and made TikTok every night.

"Great Cabin for a big group - This cabin was beautiful and big enough to fit our large group of friends from church. We spent our mornings drinking coffee and hanging out on the beautiful porches looking at a great view of the mountains. The huge screen in the living room made Thursday night football fun for everyone. There was plenty of room for people to hang out together in the living room to watch the game. Those who didn't like football were able to go up and hangout in the living room on the 3rd floor. Some of the best time on the trip was spent on the 2nd floor with all the games. All of us of all ages enjoyed the 2nd floor. My only complaint was that there wasn't any chalk for the pool sticks and they desperately needed them, but it was still so much fun! The host was amazing and so quick to respond to questions. The cabin is beautiful, and we would definitely rent this place again."

"Great family getaway! - The views from this property are spectacular. We even saw a family of black bears which was pretty cool. The accommodations were great and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the space and amenities. My only suggestion is for a cabin of that size there should be more sets of towels provided. The kitchen was also tight but having two fridges made an impact. Also, the grill listed in the amenities is a park style grill. So if you plan to use it be prepared to have charcoal and lighter fluid as it is not propane. The attractions are all within close proximity and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time shopping at the outlets. I’d definitely recommend this cabin for all age ranges. Great family memories made! "Perfect Getaway - This cabin is awesome! Lots of room for our party of 16 people. The kids loved the pool table, games and air hockey. The huge screen in the living room was a hit with the adults. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Everything was so nice and the view is amazing! The drive to the cabin is paved so that was really nice. Also, it’s not too far from stores. Justin is an amazing host! Very communicative and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Anything I needed, he was quick to respond and always so kind! "Clean Cabin with an excellent view and lots of amenities - We were a group of 22: family, friends, children and even 2 senior citizens who stayed for 3 nights. It was an amazing experience. The cabin has lots of amenities inside like foosball table, air hockey, pool table, 2 hot tubs and a jacuzzi to name a few. The view from the cabin is also spectacular. You can see the mountain and valley profile from all the 3 floors of the cabin. The cabin was clean and pretty much everything was in working condition. I did not have to follow up with the owner/property manager for any fix. The property is also easily reachable via any of the GPS maps and the drive is not dangerous, which is always a fear when getting to the cabins. Overall, this cabin and the owner gets a 5-star rating from me. PS: It would be good to leave a couple of doorknob openers, especially when the cabin is inhabited by guests with children. Accidental locks do happen."

"Great Location and Communication - The location to the cabin was great, very close to Dollywood and all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. The cabin was very clean, and everything was in working order whenever we arrived. Justin was great to communicate with, he made sure we had all the information we needed several days before left and checked in with us after we checked in to make sure we didn't need anything. The cabin had a ton of level parking which is hard to find. We look forward to staying here again in the future!!"

"Bears! BEARS! - Cabin and views are absolutely beautiful! Easy to access, very clean. Pool is a short trip, quiet and clean. We had a Mama Woodchuck and babies and also a Mama Bear with 4 cubs. Bears weren't scared of people and just walked around all over and got in the trash that had to be cleaned up several times. But we didn't care, we got to see BEARS!! Game room and theater room were awesome.

"60th Wedding Anniversary - We had a total of 13 adults (ourselves, our adult children and their spouses.)
The Cabin/Chalet was very impressive, 3 stories, 7 or 8 bedrooms with king size beds, and individual bathrooms. It was as pictured, spacious and with plenty of amenities to keep everyone happy; and was big enough to provide alone time for anyone who so desired, either on one of the 3 decks overlooking the mountains, or in one of the lounge areas. It's close to Dollywood, and many other attractions. Everyone loved the place, and had a great time. If you've got a large group, this is the place to go."

"Great family gathering! - We had a wonderful time visiting the area with our family! We had about 20 people with a mix of adults and kids, the youngest being an infant. We had plenty of rooms and space! The kitchen was on the smaller side, but the double fridge and double ovens made up for that. We thoroughly enjoyed our family meals together and all being able to fit in one dining room. The large TV projector was a big hit for kids and adults alike to play games. But more importantly for our famiky karaoke night!!! The views were wonderful from all 3 balconies and the 2 Jacuzzis. Great location to all the local attractions. We especially enjoyed the alpine coaster near by, really fun at night. The owner was really easy to contact when we needed things and responded right away. Overall, great stay for our big family!"

"Awesome cabin - There was more than enough room for 18 adults. The kids had a blast plenty of things to do there. We did have an issue with the stove top while using it but I contacted the owner and I'd say within 10 minutes he responded. The breaker was tripped. I turned it off an back on and it worked again. "The cabin met all of our needs. The convenience of the cabin being fully equipped was a HUGE asset. It is such a beautiful cabin with tremendous views with plenty of room for everyone. The family enjoyed there stay. The children enjoyed the games in the cabin (air hockey table, arcade game, pool table ) The location was convenient for family coming as far away as Texas and Pennsylvania. "Much needed vaca - We loved the property. It was a perfect size for 22 of us. The views from the balconies were great and we really enjoyed the throwback Pac-Man, etc game.
The only problem that we had was that the oven attached to the stove top wouldn’t work. We made do with the one oven , but thought the owner would want to get that repaired for the next large family.

"Great senior trip! - I took a group of 19 graduating seniors to this beautiful property! It was furnished with every amenity you could imagine, but what really sealed the deal for us was the location. This place is in a gated community 1.5 (approximately) miles away from Dollywood, and a short drive to MANY attractions within the pigeon forge area. It was a beautiful cabin with a great location! Justin was very gracious as I had many questions. One time I did receive a "canned" response instead of the one I was looking for, but he sent back the answer a little later. Overall Justin is a top-notch host. There are smart TV's in every bedroom and living space, with disney+, Netflix, amazon prime, Youtube TV. These are great for late night movie times! The main living area has a huge projection screen tv with surround sound. We watched a few movies on it and had an AMAZING time. The kitchen suited us well for our visit, but we really ate out mostly. The two refrigerators and ovens were nice! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and functional. Justin had many towels for us to use which was a nice touch. There are two washer and dryers in the cabin. These were great for us as we had much laundry coming into Pigeon Forge (it was the second part of our trip). The 2 hot tubs were a nice treat after a long day of walking around Dollywood. Overall, I would certainly rent this cabin from Justin again. The teens LOVED this place and I did too. Don't overthink it, just book it. You will have an amazing time."

"You can not go wrong with staying here. The pics do no justice to the property. It is absolutely beautiful, the rolling hills and mountain scenery was breathtaking along with the snow that fell during our stay was the icing on the cake. My guest and I were taken aback when we entered the cabin. The best relaxing vacation we have had thus far, not to mention the amenities were great. This cabin had everything we needed for our stay. "Nice and spacious cabin, with 8 bedrooms with king-size beds and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Close to town, 8 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Gated community, and indoor pool is a plus. Nice to have two big tables for a big crowd. Few negatives, kitchen is too small for 16 people cabin, bathrooms and kitchen need an update. Overall a good value."

"Wonderful cabin - 21 family members stayed over Christmas. Cabin is beautiful and was decorated with 2 Christmas trees. Plenty of room and things to do in the cabin. Unfortunately for us it was a short stay due to a snowstorm and eventual loss of power that forced us to leave early. Justin was amazing and was there for us the entire way. He went above and beyond what we expected!! We definitely will return."

"Amazing! Ready to go back!!! - We stayed for our annual family Christmas trip and it was absolutely perfect! We had a total of 14 people from the ages of 1 to 84 and it met the needs of everyone. All communications and questions with Justin were handled and answered swift. The amount of amenities at the cabin allowed for a family day We cannot wait to go back next year!"

"Place was awesome. My family book this place to make some holiday memories. Their were 14 of us and we had plenty of space. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. Was near Gatlinburg and National Park. The hot tub was a hit with the adults and arcade kept us up late night. Movie screen kept many of us in the living watching movie and football! Justin is a super host and kept in touch with me from the beginning of booking to check out. He made sure we had everything we need along with suggesting places to visit. We will definitely be back and booking with Justin the next time we are in Tennessee."

"Best time ever!!! - Such an incredible time at this cabin! Our group was full of best friends and we pretty much grew to family after such an amazing long weekend here. From the weather to the views we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The layout was spot on accommodating us perfectly. The king beds are a huge plus! Hot tubes and games we definitely enjoyed. I think the best part was the projector screen tv and speakers! Not to mention it was super clean and Justen (owner) was very accommodating and responsive. Thanks again!"

1st Floor Hot Tub and Jacuzzi is very good.
All Bedrooms and Bathrooms are neat and clean. Feedback for improvement.
Kitchen - 4 Star - Refrigerator is not new looks old with few broken parts.
2nd Floor and 3rd Floor Deck not clean - Need to be cleaned well. Lot of dust and not sure the previous people stayed there are smoking.
2nd Floor Jacuzzi / hot tub in the deck is not in working condition. Either it needs to be removed or it need to be clean and functional."

"This cabin had EVERYTHING needed for a perfect stay! Plenty of space and fun- what a gorgeous place for a trip with friends or families with children of all ages and large groups. The hot tubs overlooking the mountains was beautiful and relaxing and there is plenty to do just right down the road. The Smokey Mountain mansion is nestled up in a gated secluded mountain resort but with all the attractions within a few miles. A wonderful, 4-night stay in a beautiful cabin! Will definitely stay here again!!!"

"The house was beautiful, very spacious and the location was perfect. It seemed as if we were in close proximity to everything. From the pool table to the Hot tubs everything was great.
