Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.
Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.
Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

"We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed, it was just like the photos. We enjoyed our time in the downstairs game room, the hot tub and hanging out on the deck. "This was a great stay for our family of 6 on a vacation to Gatlinburg. The kids enjoyed all of the games and we had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. The location was perfect for sitting outside to enjoy the view, have a camp fire and just relax. The post described everything accurately. We were able to enjoy the kitchen, grilled out a few times and even had a campfire. The grill has some hot spots but it gets the job done. We had a lot of rain showers and humidity so the campfire was a bit more challenging. If you plan to have one, definitely bring dry wood, kindling and paper. Otherwise, we have no complaints about our stay and would definitely stay again!"

"First time using Airbnb and was not disappointed. Great place and the views were awesome! No issues while there and Shane was quick to answer the one question I had. We were gone most of the time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so we did not take advantage of the game equipment in the lower level, but there was plenty of it if we had. Lots of wildlife were seen to include deer, squirrel, rabbits, and eagles. We saw a herd of 8 deer on our way out today. Will definitely use Airbnb again if they're all like this one."

"This was a great place for our family to spend Thanksgiving together! We loved the downstairs gaming area! Shuffle board was a big hit for everyone, but especially the adults! It was 30-40 minutes outside of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which is exactly what we wanted! We didn’t want to be super close to town. There were some near by shops if you needed to run down the road for a few quick things. Hosts were quick to respond with any questions or concerns. We had a really great time and would definitely recommend this cabin to other families."

"Our stay at the cabin was an incredible experience! The view of Mt Cove was INCREDIBLE! We enjoyed it from the deck and from the great room/kitchen inside! The cabin was immaculate; great open floor plan, incredible kitchen, the best master bedroom suite I saw, clean bathrooms, and a second open space game room/lounge room downstairs! We enjoyed a night at the fire pit, which was one of our favorite memories of the trip! Shane was an awesome host, contacting us from the start and was very fast with replies! "Shane's cabin was absolutely perfect. The view was pinch-yourself-incredible and it had plenty of room to stretch out. My 16-year-old son stayed in the basement and said he felt like "the cool older brother in a 80s sitcom!" ;0 The cabin was secluded, but just 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge, so perfectly situated. We appreciated Shane's recommendation to hike in Wears Valley; it's definitely less crowded than some of the more popular spots in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so be sure to check it out! We fell in love with Tennesee and hope we can come back one day!"

They particularly appreciated having all amenities on one level, which eliminated the need to climb stairs. This ensures the peaceful serenity of nature that we always look for when renting but we were able to get to the parkway quickly. The cabin is a great value for the rate that we paid. IMO this place was very very clean. I would definitely recommend this rental and will definitely check this one first if we return to the area and are looking for a rental as we typically bring our camper. My daughter even asked the nice elderly gentleman at the parking gate “what are we getting ourselves into?” He said … now sweetheart… what kind of question is that? She said there are so many people!
