No matter if you're looking for a retreat for a large group or want a getaway for your big family, Rocky Top Lodge is the perfect Smoky Mountain cabin for your vacation. Unlike many Gatlinburg cabins, we are PERFECTLY located in between Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, nestled away less than 2 miles from them both. (Yet we're still far enough out to enjoy amazing mountain-top views and hear the silence of nature!)

Located at the very top of a hill, the wraparound porch allows you to take in majestic views from all directions. Watching the sun rise over the hills and trees in the East with a cup of coffee has never been so relaxing. And as night falls, share some laughs in the private 6-person hot tub as the sun sets in the West.

For the younger folks in the group (or young at heart!), there is PLENTY to do as well. Our family's favorite is the skeeball, where many challenges are thrown down. The full-sized air hockey game and pool table are also a hit, and the kids get massive smiles when they score their first victory over adults. The home theater with a massive TV is also a lot of fun, with actual stadium-style seating to get comfy and take in a show. There are 200+ DVDs to choose from, or you can bring your own if you want. Talk about making memories!

The cabin itself is appointed just as you'd hope and is both massive in size AND filled with charm. As you walk into the front door, you're greeted by soaring 20' ceilings. A gas fireplace in the large living room lets everyone feel warm and cozy on a chilly night, and a baby grand piano is right there in case anyone is feeling inspired to play. The kitchen has just about everything you need for your stay -- a Keurig and a coffee maker, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, a blender, crock pot, microwave, iron and board, washer and dryer, and more. Just bring any food you want, store it in the pantry or one of the two refrigerators, and you're all set.

Bears are indigenous to the area and are often seen near or on our properties. Please do not leave food or trash outside.

Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.

Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville are the three main cities that comprise the area. Everything is spread out a bit and there are amazing things to keep you busy...

- Amazing dinner shows to entertain kids of all ages
- Museums of all types: classic cars, Alcatraz, Titanic and several childrens' museums

The entire region is very hilly (After all, it's the Smoky Mountains!) so do yourself a favor and download an offline map in your Goo gle Maps program. This will let you navigate to our cabin and around the area (automatically) even if you don't have cell coverage. Neat, right??!

To do this, it's easy:

1. Open the Goo gle Maps app and log in.
2. Search for Pigeon Forge. Zoom in/out so that the map you see contains everything from Gatlinburg on the bottom to Sevierville on the top. Don't be afraid to zoom way out because it'll get everything in between.

The cabin sits atop of a small and quiet development, looking down on other cabins and out to the nearby green fields and mountains. It's less than 2 miles to all the restaurants and activities of Pigeon Forge, so it's perfectly located.
