Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.
Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

"Madison’s Retreat is a very nice cabin in the mountains. It has a beautiful view and a quiet peaceful feeling. The hot tub is a plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We would recommend it to others. It’s close enough to town, but far enough for privacy away from the crowds. The cabin is spotless. The kitchen has everything you need for meal prep. Nice fireplace to take the chill off in the mornings. Furniture is fine. We asked for assistance with some lighting issues. Maintenance came quickly. Light bulbs were replaced, but work orders had to filled out for part of the problem. Things to keep in mind-in this rental, only the bare minimum essentials are provided. 1 set of towels per guest, 2 laundry pods, 3 dishwasher pods, 2 coffee pods. No extra hot tub towels. We had 4 adults staying for 5 days. Bring extra everything. Again, this is a beautiful cabin, perfect for 4 adults. If you know what you need to provide in advance, you will not be disappointed. We will return."

"The cabin is well-maintained and in a fantastic location, tucked away on steep, narrow mountain roads that really make you feel like a local in the Smoky Mountains. It’s conveniently close to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and tons of fun attractions. Few tips future guests: bring your own propane if you want to use the gas fire pit, as well as your own food, extra towels, and toiletries. And don’t forget your hiking boots — the Smokies are stunning and you'll want to explore! The back porch balcony offers a beautiful view of the mountains and surrounding countryside, and it's especially relaxing from the hot tub. Important note: DO NOT feed the bears — whether you're in town, at the cabin, or out on the trails. Bears are active in the area, and we saw them in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Cades Cove. They’re known to dig through trash, so be mindful of where you put your garbage. Looking for adventure, check out “Wildside” — highly recommended! We will be back at the cabin as a tradition."

The cabin itself was cozy and inviting, the perfect mix of comfort and charm. One of the most memorable moments of our trip was spotting a bear nearby it was such a sweet (and adorable!) surprise and made the mountain experience feel even more magical. "PERFECT for our family of six! Me, my wife and our 4 kids ages 5-10 stayed here for 3 nights and it was great! Justin was a great host, very responsive and treated us like family! The view on the back deck was great! Everything was extremely clean! We checked all of the beds first thing upon arrival and they all looked brand new! Hot tub worked great and so did the fire pit! The HUGE living room was perfect for the kids to play in! I cant explain how clean everything was! It is only a 10 min drive to the strip in PF (4 miles)! Motion activated lights on all corners of the house, felt very secured! The price was great and if the price stays roughly the same, we will be back several times! We checked out some of his thousands of reviews from his other locations and it makes sense why they were all so good! 5 Stars from us!"
