"Super cute cabin! I will say, going up the driveway is super steep! The Yukon squealed tires every time. Just a heads up for anyone planning to go! Everything was super clean and neat. The hot tub was very clean, almost looked brand new. I would definitely stay here again! We did have an HVAC issue (tis the season!) and we didn’t get home until 12 and they were still super responsive and happy to walk us through! They gave us a partial refund (they offered to send a repairman, but I told them no need to send someone out so late) which was very honorable. Just very thoughtful and shows that they truly see you as a guest, and not a customer. We had a bear visit while we were gone and came back to muddy bear prints going over to the grill on the porch and back down when they realized nothing was in there haha. Thank you guys so much!"

"Amazing and relaxing stay! We absolutely loved our stay at Living Waters Lodge! The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. Inside, everything was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The hot tub was absolute perfection, and being surrounded by such gorgeous nature was a dream; we were even lucky enough to spot a little bear during our stay! We truly fell in love with this place and would definitely come back. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!"

"This cabin is in a great location and provides nice privacy in an otherwise overdeveloped area. The cabin itself was very clean and had all the cooking essentials we needed. The outdoor space was also beautiful and we saw a bear during our trip which was very cool. The only negatives were that the cabin is very poorly constructed (gaps in the seals for the logs in one of the bedrooms, missing trim on the floor, gaps where you can see into the wall on the light switches). These are minimal things that only bothered me as I’m very detail oriented."

"The location is wonderful. Cabin has three porches with amazing views! A must is to go sit on the south end deck in the woods, just peaceful! My wife love to cook and bake and this cabin had everything she needed. I’m the sous chef so of course I checked before we discussed what we were making. Thank you!"

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're thrilled you and your wife enjoyed the cabin's views and that our kitchen met all her culinary needs. There's something special about those peaceful moments on the south deck surrounded by the woods—we're so glad you experienced that together. It sounds like you two made some great memories here, and we'd love to welcome you back anytime. Thanks for being such great guests!

"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was very clean and had such a cozy, homey feel from the moment we arrived. The view was beautiful and the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day out. The location was great—secluded enough to feel peaceful and private, yet still close to all the local attractions. The host was also excellent, responding very quickly whenever we had a question. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The concerns about the steepness of the driveway are blown out of proportion UNLESS you are staying in winter (then good luck even with AWD (coming from a MN driver). While its crazy steep, it's newer pavement that's smooth and no major concern for any standard car to drive up, so you don't need to spring for the AWD rental. The cabin is showing some wear: a few damaged blinds (one even had a label that said not to use because it's broken) so it was stuck open (lucky there isn't any neighbors to traumatize with seeing into the bedroom), a few light fixtures didn't work well and a couple doors didn't close well. There is a few quirks of staying in a real wood cabin in the mountains, so be prepared for bugs to make their way in and be able to hear everything between the upper and lower bedrooms. Overall this was a very nice stay. I'd say a 4.5 rating would be appropriate but gave a 5 because it was still very nice. Would stay again."

"We had a beautiful stay in wears valley! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything you need to come home and relax to after days of hiking and exploring. The jacuzzi tub and hot tub worked perfectly, and there is plenty of outdoor seating to relax and look at the views. While I knew the listening mentioned there was a steep driveway to the property, it was STEEP. It was a bit hard to navigate in the dark with fog, and the neighboring cabin members got their van stuck on the curve. Please proceed with caution and have a confident driver! Other than that, our stay was perfect in every way."

"The cabin was absolutely beautiful, probably the nicest one I’ve stayed in. We did have a problem with the hot tub but they did offer to come out to look at it. It was just getting late and it was our last night so we declined. Very prompt responses and they still got five stars from us. The only drawback I found was that I thought we could actually get down to the water from the cabin and we couldn’t. The stairs and seating were still fantastic, peaceful options though."

"This property was beautiful, and the cabin’s Christmas decorations made our stay feel especially cozy. The location is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet getaway away from the busier areas. As others have mentioned, the drive up to the cabin is quite steep. A 4WD vehicle and confident driving experience are recommended, especially in cold weather when tires can slip on the incline."

"Cozy beautiful cabin in a quiet wooded area. We felt right at home. Beds were comfy. Kitchen had enough basics to cook with. Hot tubs were clean and appreciated after long days hiking. Highly recommend a car with clearance and AWD to maneuver the driveway hill. Might be extra tricky if there's ice. Best to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and soap."

"This was a beautiful cabin and pretty isolated (a good thing). The space was great for a small family retreat. Of note: the kitchen was incredibly well stocked for those that wish to cook meals! Shane was super responsive and very quick to respond. This location is an easy 20 minute commute to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, Sevierville, and The Great Smokey Mountains National Park. We had a great time and have already scheduled a second visit in the near future. Highly recommend this cabin for folks looking to explore the area and yet be comfortably secluded in the mountains."

"Place is exactly as listed. You have neighbors, but enough trees in between that you feel quite secluded and private too. It’s a delightful setting perfect for relaxing and enjoying the nature around you, which is exactly what we were looking for. The house has many different options for relaxing outside while enjoying the setting. Several decks out back or the wrap around porch or balcony in the front. Whether it was our morning coffee or watching the fading light of day, we loved beginning and ending each day out there. We did not see any bears actually at the cabin but saw several mamas and cubs quite near the house on our drive to and from the house. The kitchen was quite adequate to cook in, but we also took advantage of the many places to eat nearby….especially liked the Abbey in Townsend and their chicken tacos. Took in several hikes at the park and enjoyed the foothills parkway, taking in a sunset there on one of their many lookouts. Great week! Nice place!!"

"My boyfriend, kids and I had a trip we’ll never forget! The cabin was amazing! Felt very cozy and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay - pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, coffee maker, washer and dryer, comfy beds, etc. Shane was so responsive with anything we needed and even reached out several times to see if we needed any local recommendations and sent coupons for local activities. The cabin has a stair case that leads down to overlook a river. It rained while we were there so the river was loud and so peaceful. We saw a bear during our stay who minded his business as we watched him walk by. You may see noted in several other reviews, the driveway to get to the cabin is VERY steep. We have a Hyundai Palisade that did fine, it’s just nerve wrecking getting up that incline. Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend this cabin. We’ll be staying with Shane again in the future."

"Our stay was nice and we made plenty of memories! The house is beautiful and in a nice, peaceful location. I advise caution on the driveway as there isn’t good visibility when driving up it and there are other houses at the top; it’s a bit steep, but 2-wheel drive cars manage. Views and ambience are amazing and the house is super cozy! Rooms are a good size, comfy, and homey. We did have a couple of issues with the upstairs shower (lack of cold water vs lack of pressure, had to choose one or the other) and the dishwasher (had to delay start), but I believe this comes with rentable homes due to wear and tear. The only issue we had with communication was regarding the hot tub— I have no experience with them and didn’t want to accidentally damage it but I never heard back from Shane regarding this so we did not use it unfortunately. My honest rating is a 4.75/5 as we did have a couple of issues but we overall had a great time and enjoyed the house! I would recommend this house regardless!"

The living rooms and kitchen were clean and the couches were very comfortable to nap in and enjoy socializing in. Porches all had beautiful views and the hot tub was super nice especially at night. The standout feature were the various decks leading to the creek, the most I’ve been in tune with nature. Would come again anytime I’m visiting the area!"

"In addition to this cabin being exactly as described and beautiful, this is also great because of the location and the great communication from Shane. The location is an easy and pretty drive either to Pigeon Forge, and nestled up to a mountain in a great private spot. The walkways down toward the stream give easy access to a serene private world. The deck and boardwalk around the back were a cool touch. We also enjoyed the balcony. The hot tub was also wonderful after a long day of hiking.
