KITCHEN Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances; full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and other kitchen appliances perfect for making breakfast, lunch or dinner throughout your stay! All pots, pans, glasses, plates, silverware, etc. are also there for you. There is a lovely dining room located right off the kitchen, surrounded by windows to take in the mountain ambiance and views, as well as additional seating at the breakfast bar.
ENTERTAINMENT Kick Back Shack is the perfect place to both relax and play! Enjoy family movie night (or the big game) in the living room while the fireplace roars in the distance. Step upstairs into the game room and engage in some friendly competition with a round or two of pool. Outside, kick back in a rocking chair and take in the gorgeous views while you sip your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. And you and the kiddos (and adults alike) will love relaxing in the bubbling hot tub while taking in that fresh Smoky Mountain air while gazing at the stunning mountain views. And, as a guest at Kick Back Shack, you also have access to the community indoor pool, which is heated and is perfect for year-round fun!

Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. Hot tub was nice in the evenings( and very clean), especially since we were able to watch the fireworks from Dollywood every night from the deck! That was a great bonus! "Family getaway - Great little cabin for our family vacation! Our kids loved the big bunk beds and learning how to play pool! Hot tub was nice in the evenings( and very clean), especially since we were able to watch the fireworks from Dollywood every night from the deck! That was a great bonus! Very close to Dollywood and pigeon forge. We loved the location. This is a part of a cabin community though, so don't expect to be isolated from others. There are a lot of other cabins around, however the view was still pretty great! Tip, bring your own pillow. Very clean and would stay here again."

"INCREDIBLE Views! Great Experience. - I celebrated my thirty-sixth Birthday with three of my closest friends for three nights over an April weekend. We lucked out and had some of the best spring weather anyone can ask for (low-mid 60s and sunshine all day). The first and IMO best part about Justin and Kari's cabin is the view from the back porch. It's one of the most incredible views I've gotten to experience in the state of TN. It is one of the highest up cabins in the neighborhood and you can see for miles all the way to the smokies. You can also hear the steam train from Dollywood every 45 minutes or so during the day, not loud and annoying, just calmly in the background, it really made the trip feel like an authentic TN mountain cabin should. There really is so much to take in from the porch that we spent an entire evening just relaxing and watching the birds (we saw hawks, a falcon and what we think was an eagle) from the hot tub when we had originally planned to go fishing. It is about as close to Pigeon Forge as you could want to be while still feeling secluded and in the mountains. Justin and Kari were very responsive from day one when I booked until I checked out and always replied to my messages within a few minutes. Check in is a breeze and the cabin is very cozy with a fireplace and very nice TV. No complaints from our crew, we will certainly be back to the kick back shack!"

"Perfect Sping Break - Visited over Spring break with my husband and two kids (ages 2 & 5). The location was great, just minutes away from Dollywood and a short drive from the national park/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. While it is part of a resort area, it still managed to feel secluded, and the amenities were perfect for a family getaway (hot tub, community indoor pool, and BBQ grill). Would highly recommend!"

Justin was always responsive to any questions I had and made me feel comfortable staying in my first ever AirB&B! "Justin and Kari's cabin was just what I needed to get away and have a peaceful healing "me time". It was quiet and the view was spectacular. Justin was always responsive to any questions I had and made me feel comfortable staying in my first ever AirB&B! He also checked in periodically to make sure I had everything I needed which was greatly appreciated. The gated community and secure locks on the cabin made me feel safe while staying by myself in a cabin. A must stay! I will be staying here again."

"Justin's place was amazing and we enjoyed our stay here—well located and great view of the mountains as well as a calm and quiet location. We enjoyed the entertainment zone and the great interiors. The only point to improve would be to keep some additional provisions in the kitchen like cooking oil, salt, and condiments for quick cooking and additional toilet paper for the bathroom and I am certainly not going to reduce any stars for that because of the great other things."

We rented a UTV to take up to Clingman's Dome, The Sinks and many other stops, ziplined and rode horseback on the mountain. Had breakfast at The Mill and dinner at JT Hannah's for a few of the local meals. Dollywood was amazing. We'd love to visit again at Christmas time!"

"Family Cabin Vaca - The Kick Back Shack cabin was an incredible experience. The cabin was in a private gated community that had breathtaking views of the mountains. "This Airbnb was a wonderful place to stay. It is located in a small culdesac, so you have neighbors, but because of the rounded street structure you can not see them sitting from the back porch and instead all you see is the mountain views. We saw Dollywood fireworks from the porch (in the hot tub) every night! Like mentioned in another review, the pool table room is not meant for experts, due to it being smaller than standard size, a window in the way of shooting on one wall (heads-up if you have kids!), and it being slightly tilted, but it was certainly fun for us! The only complaint we really had was the water coming out of a faucet upstairs sprayed quite a bit when turned on. Overall, we would stay here again and again!"

"Would recommend - We came from Texas to have a mini vacation away from the city and this cabin did not fail!! We had a great time. My kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub and also the community pool as well. Only thing there is no pantry and I had to fit all my food on the counter and usually homes have basic necessities like salt so I didn’t bother to bring any but I just went down to Walmart down the street nothing major. We also got to see a black bear he stole our trash out the bin we recorded the whole thing lol"

"Justin’s cabin is absolutely amazing!! The cabin is so cute and home-y! My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and had a great time! It’s very close to Dollywood so perfect for people looking to go to the amusement park. Justin gave us a whole list of recommendations of things to do in the area which was so helpful!! He was also very quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely be staying here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the "Kick Back Shack" and would gladly stay there again! The location was ideal -- just a few minutes from Dollywood and the Parkway, and just far enough off the main roads that it was quiet & peaceful. Even in terms of the location in the resort, it had a bit more privacy than most cabins, because it was on a cul-de-sac and not side-by-side with the neighboring cabins. The cabin was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed without having "too much" -- our kids enjoyed the pool table, and we preferred that it didn't have a game room with lots of arcade games like similar listings. We also enjoyed relaxing on the deck and in the private hot tub. The resort seems to be one of only a few in the area with an indoor community pool that is open year round (it happened to be closed for maintenance during our stay, but there was so much to do in the area that it wasn't a problem). Justin was incredibly responsive, and provided a super helpful guidebook."
