Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. Bring extra toilet paper hehe 🙂 We were a party of 9 and bathrooms are not stocked for more than two days 🙂 Oh and the bears 🙂 We got to see more bears from the house then when we went on two different motor trails 😉 Make sure to lock vehicle doors and to always check before walking up to your car as we ran into them several times even in broad daylight 🙂 One of them even made a round all the way around the balcony/porch and walked up to our door 🙂 Made for some fun memories :)"

"Our stay here was great! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. The drive up was crazy and the driveway also crazy but to be expected in that area. Everything was as described and we even had access to more than one pool in the area. I would say the bathrooms just need a little updating. We also were given the wrong code in the handbook but we messaged Justin and he replied right away with the correct code. We wished there were more towels and maybe some extra toiletries, coffee filters, spices, a lighter for the grill and /or fireplace, but that’s just personal preference) otherwise everything was as described."

"My friends and I stayed here for a short getaway. The views were so amazing, and the hot tub was so relaxing. The location is unbeatable - at the top of the mountain for privacy and incredible scenery, but a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Justin was very attentive and helpful. Our last night there, there were very high winds and a few wild fires on the mountains around us. Justin was in touch multiple times to offer assistance and provide the safety updates to us. Unfortunately we ended up leaving a few hours early because a large tree fell across the driveway nearly missing our vehicle. Overall we had an incredible time. We would definitely stay here again, and hopefully next time we’ll see some bears!"

"The grand pinnacle was amazing! It was so nice having a place where all 3 families could have their space but be together at the same time!! Definitely enjoyed the view and seeing the bears (they weren’t at the cabin but instead at the pool)! I would recommend following the directions for parking because the driveway is steep! Be ready for a curvy drive up as well! Overall, we had a great stay!"

"A beautiful place with plenty of room. An important comment here is this place is way up the mountain. The driveway is a steep entrance so just keep that in mind. I say this because we brought older members that were scared of the drive and driveway so they didn’t leave the mountain. The rest of us drove down to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge multiple days, only took 15-20 minutes! If you like beautiful scenery, large deck, and spacious comfortable beds then I highly recommend it. When bringing older members of the family, may have been best to have them closer to town."

"Beautiful locations in the heart of the Smoky Mountains! The wraparound porch provided panoramic views of the mountains and a spot to view wildlife (which included black bears). This spot was certainly worth the money spent!"

"Gorgeous views—can’t beat ‘em! This cabin looks so much smaller than it is and comfortably accommodated our group of 10! Justin was very responsive, but I felt there were an excessive amount of notifications from the automatic replies. Our group also found that the cabin didn’t supply enough toilet paper or paper towels for our stay. With that said, we would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone!!"

"Amazing Views - The view from this property was amazing!!! We loved the spacious rooms and common areas but our favorite was the porch. We spent hours on the porch visiting and taking in the beauty around us, as well as, watching the bears! I his was the perfect house for our entire family of 12! Would stay here again!!"

"Very beautiful place with gorgeous views. We really enjoyed our stay there. Would say the only down side is the mattresses, they are incredibly firm and don’t make for a good night’s rest, but the twin mattresses down stairs are pretty nice. Can’t complain too much because it was a very good deal for the location, just bring a sleeping bag or something to provide some extra cushion on the beds."

"Fantastic cabin with amazing views of the ski slope. Really enjoyed the kitchen and the open living room with the big windows and huge table to play games. Game Center has so many games! The fireplace and beautiful mantle (and free wood) were a huge hit! This house does NOT stink like 1 of the reviews said! It snowed the last night and there wasn’t a shovel or salt but we got out with ease and our host assured us that if we had any trouble that he would be there to help. Overall a fantastic house, very unique and special— not your average, annoying cookie cutter bear cabin, this place is beautiful! Driveway is steep but you got this! Easy to hang as one group and also split up and all chill separately. Will definitely be trying to stay here again on our next trip. I’ve stayed in many cabins in the area and this one definitely takes the cake for the price. It was an absolutely amazing stay— 10/10 do recommend! Fingers crossed that we get to stay here next time for a similar price!"

"I absolutely enjoyed staying for my vacation at this cabin ! The view was beautiful. I was able to talk to the owner himself at check in and the work he has put into this cabin is amazing. "We had such a great time. The cabin was exactly as described. The drive is steep and a bit tricky at first, but once you use it a couple of times, it’s not a problem at all. We saw wildlife near the property that was beautiful - just keep your distance. The view is spectacular! The deck is incredible! Game room is very nice. "Well kept home and we truly loved it. Some of the on line pictures could be updated with the actual beds that were in the rooms for pre planning purposes. There are bears so be alert and lock doors to house and vehicles at all times. Would definitely visit again!"

"We had a group of 12 stay in this cabin in late July and loved our stay! The cabin was the perfect size for our group and allowed us to spread out nicely. The views from the cabin our quite spectacular, and sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings was a treat. We also spent ample time using the game room and hot tub and dint have any motive issues. Kitchen wise, this cabin has all the tools, pots, pans, etc we needed. The kitchen is perhaps a bit small if you’re with a large group, but that’s a small nit. Location wise, we found it to be a perfect spot for the activities we had planned. We went biking at Cade’s cove, explored downtown Gatlinburg, went white water rafting and hiking, and visited Dollywood. We never had to drive more than an hour. Overall, we throughly enjoyed our stay at Justin’s cabin, and I’d highly recommend it."

The house was more or less as pictured. The dining, living, and outdoor areas were awesome. However, the kitchen was small- it was hard to have more than one person in there at a time. "Bear land - Gorgeous location. Lots of bears sneaking around. 10 min to free pool. 8 min to tram lift. Good views. Cons are: no gas grill. Pieces of wood are super huge and it takes hours to make fire. Inside everything is super cheap made and already old. Overall good place to be lost from noisy city."

Thanks so much for visiting and I'm glad you enjoyed your time! Most folks want a wood burning fireplace for the classic chalet experience, so that's what we have in there. You can always just get a 'duraflame' log at the grocery store if you're not experienced with normal sized wood logs. And I'm always working to improve the cabin... I just updated to quartz countertops and a farmhouse sink about 3 months ago, glass doors to let more light in, and even VERY expensive furniture sets in the bedrooms about 6 months ago. OH -- and a metal telescope mounted to the deck to take in Ober Ski Hill across the valley. I'm most excited about that one! Safe travels.

"Our group had a wonderful stay during May 2022. We had a group consisting of 8 to 11 people, which varied during our stay. Ages ranged from 9 to 60. This home provided plenty of room to accommodate all of us together, as well as offering private space to get away when you need a little "me time". We had visits from the bears each day of our stay. Very exciting to see them up close! We just went inside and gave them their space and they moved along their way. We all had a wonderful time and all agree, we would stay there again!"

"A great location for skiing at Ober Gatlinburg. The views were fantastic. Bring some binoculars for watching the skiers on the mountain. Great entertainment.The house was very large and super clean. Communication was fantastic and the response was quick. What a great place and Host. One tip I have is to pass up the house make a u turn at the next drive in the right and then come into the driveway. This makes it a lot easier when leaving to head to town."

"Wonderful place to stay! We had 8 children and their parents with us and there was space for everyone! So nice and clean and well stocked kitchen. We fixed most meals there and had plenty of everything. The hot tub was a huge hit with everyone! We had a great time and Justin was so accommodating and offered a travel guide of fun things to do as well as coupons for $$ off at some attractions!! We will definitely stay there again if we travel back to the Gatlinburg area. It is very centrally located and the view was fabulous!! We loved everything about this amazing chalet!!"

"Unfortunately, our stay at Justin's Grand Pinnacle property was cut short before it began due to extenuating circumstances. What I can say is that Justin was the most communicative, responsive, informative, and good-natured host I can remember interacting with at the time of booking and thereafter. He provided us with a custom guidebook that he and Kari drafted to introduce guests to some of the best local attractions, shared a local coupon book for discounts for those attractions, and provided very clear instructions for how to find and access the property. It is clear that this property's hosts are focused on making sure their guests' expectations are met and exceeded, and I have no doubt that we would have come away with such an experience. I hope we get the opportunity in the future to experience the Grand Pinnacle property in full and wish Justin and Kari much success."

"Cozy Getaway! - We LOVED our stay here! Everything was as advertised, and in some instances even better. The bedrooms were all the perfect size for our needs, and the kitchen, living room and game room were all better then pictures allowed! The owner even had a Roku installed for some entertainment when needed. The cabin is located within a short drive to Gatlinburg, Pidgeon Forge and Clingman's Dome, and had amazing views to enjoy with our morning coffee. We quickly became acquainted with "Dolly" and her family of bears. And while we definitely kept our space, it was pretty cool to see that side of nature up close and personal! (we never had a dangerous run in with the bears, but they are all around!) Highly recommend this cabin for your mountain getaway, and will use it again if we are in the area!"

It was very private, unlike other cabins I’ve been to - we were actually in the mountains and not on top of our neighbors - it was awesome! "This is a very nice house with a great view and amenities! It was perfect for us two set of parents and four adult "children". Justin was very helpful and saved the day after we managed to leave behind a wallet. With the great view come a somewhat scary drive and driveway; it's entirely manageable, but take it easy the first time"
