"We have stayed in several Airbnbs, but this is one of our favorites. We especially liked the cleanliness and the gaited community. The cabin was easy to find, roomy and the teens loved the various games, pool table and hot tub. The only disadvantage was having to find the dumpster for our garbage which was several minutes away rather than being able to place the garbage in a secure bear proof trash can. "The house was very clean and all necessities needed in the kitchen. Justin was very quick to respond when we were having issues with the key code to get in the house. The kids loved the pool table, air hockey table and game console downstairs. The only thing that was not mentioned is that there is a golf course right by the property and we would have brought golf clubs if we would have known. You can rent golf clubs if you want to. "The cabin was great! The main floor had a spacious great room and nice kitchen. The bedrooms on the main floor were mirror images of each other, which made things easy. Both were plenty big with very nice bathrooms. The downstairs was perfect for 4 young kids, they enjoyed the pool table and air hockey table. The pull out couch was also a big hit. The bedrooms worked well for them also. The main deck was great for the adults in the evenings and night. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. The only hiccups were the arcade game not having a power cord and not having a code to get through the gate at night. Luckily a resident was kind enough to give us theirs The location was also great, it was nice being away from busy Pigeon Forge. Townsend is a very nice area, that is an easy drive to so many activities. The neighborhood was nice and quiet also. We would stay there again and would highly recommend it to other families. Our 2 families very much enjoyed it."

"Our family of 7 really enjoyed staying here. It was clean, easy to get to and a peaceful location. We especially loved the screened back porch/deck and game room. It's about a 7ish minute drive up the mountain from Townsend, with a steep hill or two, but totally doable. I grew up in Pigeon Forge and have heard about and stayed in some really over used and run down cabins that weren't as pictured. This cabin was not that. It was clean and just as pictured and described. There were minimal check out requirements, which was great. The only issue we ran into was there was no dumpster where it was supposed to be when we tried to drop our trash off. We left because we had already checked out and passed the truck bringing the dumpster back. This was just bad timing and in no way the cabin owner's fault. They did say to leave the trash, but like I said, we already checked out and left. Thankfully, picnic areas like Metcalf Bottoms have public dumpsters. Overall, great stay. Highly reccommend"

We’re considering making this an annual trip, and will definitely consider staying here again! The kids enjoyed the game room on lower level, so they stayed down there most of the time. The location of the cabin is in a neighborhood right near the golf course, but the cabin itself is pretty secluded. Parking was tight for 3 families (we had 4 vehicles), but we made it work. The host contacted us prior to and upon arrival. He gave us plenty of information about things to do, along with coupons. Overall, great stay and memories made!"

"The cabin was lovely! Everything was very clean and Justin was friendly and helpful. The photos are accurate to the listing, if anything they fail to capture just how stunning the cabin is! I could spend hours on that back deck and never be sick of the view. We loved the hot tub and had tons of fun in the game room. A note to any future renters: The location is gorgeous, but it is in the mountains and some of the roads, including the one the cabin is located on, are pretty steep. We rented a big SUV which definitely helped. Just make sure you have a reliable vehicle and you will be fine. All in all it was definitely worth it and I would stay here again!"

"Great Family Getaway - We had a great time. The house is so cozy and well appointed. The kids loved the game room. I loved sitting out on the screened in back proch while listening to nature. This is a house you stay at to relax and go into Townsend eat come back to and the kids continue the while the adults can relax, or day trips. It is a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The drive is beautiful winding roads. The views are to die for. The cafe in Townsend had really nice people, simple but good food. Tuckaleechee Caverns is a great day trip. But our favorite was the Parrot Mountain and Gardens. The birds are beautiful and it's a real experience. The trip was great. We ill definitely be back!"

"Beautiful place - This home is absolutely beautiful and clean . The only 3 issues we had was the parking in driveway. It was tight squeeze for 3 cars . The other was cold down stairs , they did have 2 little heaters and a lot of blankets . The last one is the tv in master room did not work."

"We had a great time at the cabin. It is a beautiful place to stay and it’s not a bad drive to get to pigeon forge or other surrounding areas. The beds are some of the best beds I’ve slept in away from home. The basement was freezing cold but is a fun space to hang out with kids. The only thing I wish was different is the lighting outside by the hot in. You can’t see anything out there. Otherwise everything was great and I would come back!"

"I can't say enough good things about this little town or this beautiful cabin. There's honestly nothing I'd have wanted to change. The cabin fit our needs perfectly and it's cozy peaceful atmosphere made us feel right at home. I didn't feel like I had just walked into an AB&B but instead into someone's home. This cabin is well loved and it shows. Justin touched base with us a couple times to confirm we had everything we needed and was very helpful in suggesting local attractions as well. "We loved our stay at this gorgeous cabin! The views driving to the cabin and at the cabin were beautiful. The cabin looks exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and we all agreed we slept well every night. The neighborhood felt safe. We did have an issue with a broken toilet (things like that are bound to happen) and Justin was responsive and had someone come out the next day to get it fixed for us which we appreciated. I will definitely try to stay at this cabin again!!"

"Amazing Trip - As a family we wanted a peaceful stay after my husbands first chemo treatment. This house was over and beyond what we expected. The view is exceptional and we were very close to Grand Lake and park entrance. We had 8 people and it worked out perfectly. "The cabin was absolutely gorgeous from the moment we walked in it felt cozy and clean. There were plenty of supplies like coffee and toilet paper. Blankets to snuggle under and tons of pillows and extra blankets. Justin was really fast at replying and dealing with the one issue we had. He was an incredible host. The area was quiet and not busy at all. We were surrounded by trees and even had a bear sighting on the first night! The two king bedrooms were on the main floor and the queen and bunk room were downstairs and shared a bathroom. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Beautiful spacious home, you are basically in the middle of woods. It kind of feels like you are "glamping" (luxurious camping). We enjoyed our stay there and even saw a bear. We also heard a couple of things moving around at night. I'm not sure what they were because I was too sleepy check, but I never felt unsafe. The road to the house can be intimidating at first but once you drive through it a couple of times you get used to it. If you are staying longer than 3 days, I would suggest bringing your own toiletries because the provided hotel size bottles will run out. For some reason the listing states that a washer and drier are not available, but they are. The game room is a nice touch specially since most of the town is closed by 9pm. There is a local market its about 25-30 mins away. Everything is a bit of drive though. The guide they provide is very helpful and I highly suggest you check out the Tuckaleechee Caverns. My family and I would stay there again."

"Perfect for our multigenerational family vacation! - Beautiful spacious property perfect for our multigenerational family. The large great room was perfect for us all to hang out together and cook meals together, we all loved the game room downstairs, and we were all happy at night to have our own comfortable spaces to relax. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious, too. There are also many porches in the front and the back of the house which we all loved!
The location of the house was very peaceful and provided easy access to the park! Cades Cove was easily reached as well as all the major routes through the park without having to go through busy gaitlinburg. We were so glad we were in the small town of Townsend instead of the very touristy towns of gaitlinburg or pigeon forge.
The wildlife was abundant in the neighborhood!! We saw turkey, deer, and a few bears along the roads around the house! We even had a bear in the driveway one morning!! Truly unforgettable experience for the grandkids!!
We would definitely rent this beautiful house again!"

"What we needed - The cabin is great! Would recommend to anyone! The location is just out of Townsend so perfect for Cades Cove / Smokey Mountain visitors and not too far from the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas . Check in and check out was easy (all on line). And the key codes for the door means no office visits at check in or out. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished. We had plenty of pots and pans for cooking, the game room is great and the beds were comfortable! Looks no further!"

"This cabin was more than we expected! Our group was 12 including 4 kids alot to do inside was a lil far from gatlingburg & pigeon forge but worth the view on the way there alot of mountains views ,was very comfortable cabin 2 floors the hot tub was bigger than expected we had everything we needed for the kitchen , we spend in the last night of our stay using inside amenities like pool table and hockey table the kids playing with xbox and we had a blast !! "Hidden Gem - We come to Cades Cove every year in the spring. This time we tried this listing in Townsend. We wanted to support locals as we too have a business in our community. You couldn’t ask for a better place. My wife and I found the hidden gem in the mountains. The place was spotless, had all the essentials already there when we arrived. Just bring your groceries and your appetite to just chill if you want too. We spent most of the days at Cades Cove and relaxed at night at this gem. You can drive from Cades Cove straight to the neighborhood. Amazing! The game room, was awesome. One night we played the arcade game until the early morning. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. "Serene and Beautiful Getaway! - Wow, where do I even start? This beautiful cabin had everything we could have asked for and more. We did not want to leave! The hosts were extremely helpful, easy to get a hold of, and quick to respond to any questions. It was very evident as to why they have a "Super Host" rating! The cabin was furnished beautifully and everything was sparkling clean. We appreciated many small touches, such as an ample supply of extra pillows and blankets, spices in the cabinet, kid friendly plates and cups (in addition to lovely adult dinnerware, wine glasses and coffee mugs), coffee and creamer, comfy, plush throw blankets - I could go on and on! I have a 5 month old baby and was blown away that the hosts had even provided a high chair and pack and play in the event someone had forgotten something like that for their little one. The cabin was definitely kid friendly and our children loved the awesome game room as well as the extra touches included there - books and board games and all sorts of fun stuff! The furniture and bedding were superbly comfortable and made for wonderful places to rest after a fun filled day. We also enjoyed the serenity of the lovely porches and took advantage of enjoying the sounds and sights of nature while relaxing in the awesome hot tub. If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We will definitely be back when we can stay longer. Thanks again to Justin and Kari for a wonderful experience. I would recommend this property a million times over!"

"This place is more than I expected. Everything about the pictures and the description are true! What they left out was the feeling you get in this home. The feel of this home when sitting on the private back porches is like sitting in a treehouse that you dreamed about when you were a kid. Just peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. I could feel all the stresses of the world disappear when I walked into this home. I enjoyed watching the birds and especially the squirrels jumping from tree to tree, just a few feet away. "Great Family Getaway - We had a great time. The house is so cozy and well appointed. The kids loved the game room. I loved sitting out on the screened in back proch while listening to nature. This is a house you stay at to relax and go into Townsend eat come back to and the kids continue the while the adults can relax, or day trips. It is a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The drive is beautiful winding roads. The views are to die for. The cafe in Townsend had really nice people, simple but good food. Tuckaleechee Caverns is a great day trip. "Beautiful cabin tucked away in precious community - We loved our stay with our family which consisted of my husband, myself our 15 year old son, my brother, his wife and their 15 year old son. The cabin was equipped with everything you need especially the kitchen which was great because we love to cook. The kids loved the gameroom and so did we! The hot tub was wonderful especially after a long day of walking. The bedrooms were spacious and clean along with the rest of the cabin. "Very nice property and great location - Myself and 8 other family members spent four nights and had a great time. Perfect floor plan for 3 kids and 6 adults with space for privacy and family togetherness. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. The only comment I would have was there were no kitchen towels and no hair dryer (or we just couldn't find them) but that was a very very minor issue. "We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and very close to the main road. Our kids had a blast playing the arcade machine and air hockey. The downstairs was a little chilly but after we found the oscillating heaters and got them going it warmed right up. We would definitely stay again."

"We enjoyed our visit to this cabin, and we especially liked the screened in deck. We spent hours sitting out there enjoying the view and the peace and quiet. The owner was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. The cabin was clean and had plenty of extra blankets for use if needed. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub as well."

"Great place for a vacation - We loved the house! Very nice in main living area. We cooked a lot and had everything we needed. Hot tub was wonderful. Plenty for teenagers and small children to do downstairs. Pool table, air hockey and a arcade game with Pac-Man and more. Location was just what we were looking for. Great place to stay!!"

"Peace and Quiet Delivered - Having experienced the craziness of towns, attractions and traffic along SR441, we were hoping to find something a little more slow and tranquil. We certainly found it. This cabin is on a lot that is almost entirely surrounded by dense woods. Even though we knew there were other properties nearby, we would hardly see even a porch light through the leaves. It was so nice to hear nothing - no barking dogs, no cars or machinery, no music or squeeling kids.
The cabin was very spacious and clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. If we're ever back in the area, we will certainly try to reserve again!"

It was only me and my wife that stayed at the house but we the girls over for a wedding to get ready and there was plenty of room for all to get ready . "I can’t say enough about how amazing both our stay in this cabin and the hosts, Justin and Kari were! The cabin is beautiful- exactly as pictured- extremely clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need - from kitchen utensils/appliances, toiletries in all 3 bathrooms, and extra towels/linens/blankets in all 4 bedrooms. We vacationed with 4 young adults (18-20) who utilized the game room (especially the pool table!) daily, and relaxing in the hot tub after a long day out sightseeing and hiking was a real treat. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out, and everyone had their own space for downtime. The cabin is perfectly located on the “ quiet side” of the mountain…away from the bustle and noise, but only a short and scenic 30-40 minute drive from all of the shows and theme parks. We were even lucky enough to spot bears from the cabin, one crossing the street out front and a mama with 2 cubs from the safety of the back deck…amazing, and a true highlight to the trip! The hosts Justin and Kari were awesome, incredibly responsive, and totally dedicated to making sure we had the most amazing stay possible. They provided a sightseeing guide and coupons to local attractions, and checked in on us through the week to make sure everything was perfect. If I could give them and their cabin 10 Stars, I absolutely would. I would highly recommend both this property and these hosts to anyone… if you have the opportunity to stay at this cabin, you should take it! :)"
