And outside, you are greeted with a huge hot tub that overlooks the mountain views. Step out onto one of the many balconies, and sit back and relax in the swing chair or the large lounge area with an outdoor gas fire pit. "This place was amazing and exactly as described in the listing! It was very clean. The kitchen had pretty much every utensil, serveware, or cookware you could possibly need to enjoy a meal. It has something for everyone in the family. It is secluded and was the perfect place to enjoy coffee on the deck in the morning. "We stayed for a week for our son’s Sr trip (party of 7) and the cabin was perfect. Close enough to town for us to feel comfortable when the boys went out to explore on their own, but secluded enough so that we weren’t staring at neighbors when we wanted to utilize the outdoor spaces. The boys loved the game/theater room and this area offered separation from the main living area so that everyone could hang out without imposing on one another. It almost felt like we were staying in two separate cabins. There is a full bath on every level so that is a huge plus. I was worried about space/sleeping arrangements because the boys are around 6ft (and even big spaces can seem cramped) but there was plenty of room to spread out and enough sleeping options to keep everyone comfortable. The driveway up to the cabin was a bit intimidating at first, but really was a non- issue. We drove up in Honda Accords with absolutely no issues (even on rainy days where I was worried about having a car on a wet inclined road…but we had no issues getting in/out). We loved the location and the cabin was stunning- would absolutely stay again!"

"Clean clean clean! Everything was impressive. We have a family of 5, with 3 kids under age 10, and this space was perfect for us. The master bedroom was spacious and a great place to wind down, with a huge private bathroom. We cooked all our meals there, and enjoyed the Air Fryer and Waffle Iron. The game room was really really cool and even had a couple of unique items. The kids loved the movie theatre area. The internet was actual high speeds. Everything was as good as advertised if not even better. We will absolutely be coming back to this property for our next trip back to GSMNP."

"Our large family always looks for a spacious place to stay in this checked all the boxes. And bathrooms and bedrooms, game room, and scenic areas. A note for cautious drivers- the road to the home is very steep. It is freshly concreted which is nice but our van struggled a bit to get up the road- worth it but just a note. Bring bear spray when out on deck at night. We were lucky enough to see a pretty large black bear staring me dead in the eyes after getting out of the hot tub one night (about 1030pm). We then proceeded to watch him walk to the driveway and try and open our van door and get it on camera! Thankfully it was locked although my kids would have enjoyed seeing it rummage thru our van. We love that kind of interaction but we did take bear spray outside on the deck the next night just in case he came back. We chose the location to the proximity to the park which is close and also close to town if you wanted to head there."

It let our teens chill and play so the parents could sit on the porch and drink coffee uninterrupted! It is very close to all the fun of Pigeon Forge if that is your thing. We only snuck down there for a pizza one night. We came to the area to hike and it was nice to come back to such a comfortable cabin after our mountain adventure. The hot tub was especially nice for soothing those aching feet and legs. Beds are comfy, lots of extra blankets and towels. That back porch view alone is worth the trip. Not a complaint but a note for future stayers - the cabin could be better stocked for large parties. There was only 2 trash bags and one roll of paper towels but with 11 people that went fast. You will also need to bring seperate towels for hot tub use if you want them."

The house is thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail to add as much value for guests as possible. "Fantastic Place- Stop looking and start booking. This place is a gem. We have a large family and it worked out perfectly. The game room was a hit, the sauna was amazing, the spacey rooms and layout of the house worked great, the hot tub was a huge hit, and the views of the surrounding mountains was breathtaking. The houses is a very short ride away from town and super convenient to all the hot spots. There was very little need to leave the place with kids ranging from 9-18 both boys and girls...they all had a blast and we didnt feel like we were on top of each other. "This cabin was beautiful. We had never stayed on that side of Pigeon Forge before, and we fell in love with it! The cabin was very secluded, and there were no cabins on either side, with 3 feet between them. We loved all of the rooms in this cabin. We came as a group of 6, and it had beds everywhere for several more adults or children. The kids LOVED the game room and the small game system in the hall upstairs. We watched a movie in the media room. Anyone who is on the fence about this cabin, trust me, you will love it. The only problem I had as an MS patient was all of the stairs. My son took one side, and my husband came behind us to get me up the stairs and then again down. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable. We had to go and get salt and pepper so bring your own. We left the ones from us. Everything was so clean and well-maintained. You will have a wonderful time. We certainly did."

"Our family of four had a wonderful time during our stay! We experienced our fair share of pouring down rain, so we appreciated the hot tub, theater room, and fun games to keep us entertained. The cabin was clean and just as pictured. The view from both decks was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting outside drinking coffee while the kids were in the hot tub. On our second evening, we had two bears visit and knock over the grill. Justin was willing to send someone over first thing the next day to check on things, but we assured him we weren’t planning to use the grill, so it was no rush. "Our jaws dropped when we arrived to this cabin. The pictures did not do this cabin justice. It was clean, tidy and close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Neighbor nearby warned us about seeing bears recently which was really nice! The only down fall of this cabin is the front door is up top and you have to walk around to get to your car. Would definitely recommend booking this cabin!"

"This lodge was absolutely gorgeous! So beautiful and clean that it was almost pristine. The location couldn’t have been better. It seemed to be right in the middle of everything, but the view from the cabin was an attraction in itself. We were a family of seven and the levels of joy were from a serene glass of wine on the balcony with incredible views of the mountains, to not one of the kids ever saying that they were bored! My 10-year-old Disney World fanatic said that our stay at this cabin was his favorite vacation ever. To me, that was everything. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. "The cabin was better than described and was perfect for our getaway!! The road going up to the cabin was a little intimidating at first, but we quickly got use to it. We made great use of the game room. So much fun for all of us! My husband enjoyed the hot tub the most. We had one tiny issue when we first showed up, and Justin responded immediately. The home is very close to Pigeon Forge and conveniently located to Gatlinburg. Highly recommend doing some hiking in the nearby national park. "Our families first trip to Pigeon Forge was incredible, and our stay at the Birchwood cabin was the highlight of it all. Our group of 12 found endless things to do in the home, between the kids hanging in the game room, having movie nights on the big screen, relaxing in hot tub overlooking the mountains, and the privacy the cabin provided was second to none. The location also provided us very fast commutes to both PF and Gatlinburg. Justin also was a wonderful host, any questions or concerns we had Justin was so fast to respond and provide us the answers we needed. "The cabin was absolutely beautiful. The hill getting up to the cabin was very steep but we had an SUV that got it done. The cabin is just as the pictures described and was very clean. There were just a few downsides which included the water dispenser on the refrigerator not working, one of the directional pads not working on one of the remotes making it unusable, and the racing game not working properly-not allowing game selection so we werent able to use. These issues were small in nature and we worked around them. My family enjoyed our stayand the cabin was the highlight."

"Beautiful house located centrally to everything. I was very happy to find the house relatively private (one neighbor next door who was very nice and offered us a couple of great hiking suggestions) unlike so many others in the area that are right on top of each other. The road to the house was crazy steep (normal for the area) but we got used to it lol. Nicely situated 15-30 minutes from everything. The house was great and exactly as pictured. The kids loved the game room and theater room. The hot tub was used every night and was wonderful after a long day of hiking. Fully appointed kitchen was great so we could prepare most meals at home. TVs in every room we're appreciated by this multi-generational group with vastly different viewing habits. There was so much to do at the house that it was sometimes hard to convince the kids to go out. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. Justin was extremely responsive and helpful - I'd definitely stay here again."

"We absolutely loved this cabin!!! Everyone had plenty to do!! And it was so spacious enough that we weren’t on top of each other! My favorite was the hot tub and sauna! But the kids loved the pool table, foos ball, air hockey and shuffle board! The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates, cups and other cooking items! There was even some spices! "Justin’s place was phenomenal. It looked better than the pictures and was clean and comfortable and felt like home! Plenty of beds for our entire group of girls that stayed. Everyone had plenty of space and the beds were extremely comfortable! I honestly wanna know what kind of pillows they use in the master bedroom? They were amazing. The hot tub and sauna, and bathtub in the master bedroom were so great! They were easy to use and perfect for February winter The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make large meals for our entire group and the living room/dining room. Space was large enough for all of us to hang out together and spend some great quality time! Definitely recommend this house for your next vacation. There are neighbors semi close, but we didn’t see anyone and The house was very private with wood surrounding it on all sides. The driveway was hilarious and very steep, but we were easily able to get up and down it without four-wheel-drive in the winter."

"Birchwood Lodge went above and beyond our expectations for our stay. It seemed to fit everyone's needs as we were two families with children of different ages. First and foremost, the place was prestine! As I have a 2 year old, cleanliness was a huge one for me. Beds were very comfortable! Everything listed was provided and on site, which helped out with cooking. Plus for the coffee drinkers, there is a drip pot as well as a keurig. Plus I really liked that there was a bathroom and a shower on all 3 floors. The pictures did not do this place justice. It was absolutely stunning. Can not wait to return to visit again"

"Justin's cabin was superb! our family of 5 had more than enough space. The abundance of blankets and pillows was a great perk! Our boys enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Close to all the attractions and the drive up the mountain was not that bad at all!! I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin and Justin's quick responsiveness to make us feel at home! "The cabin was perfect - just as described. Justin was super responsive from initial booking to check out. We didn’t need anything but, he checked in multiple times. The cabin is very close to all Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer but, still feels secluded and away from touristy things which we loved. The downstairs game room and movie room were a hit with our kids. They just wanted to stay in the cabin the whole time. Book this cabin, you won’t be disappointed!"

"We enjoyed our stay! The 3 levels were a great way to get everyone spread out and have space. Our 9 and 12yo boys loved the game room and theatre room. Everyone loved the hot tub too. Not far at all from Pigeon Forge, but far enough away that it was still private/peaceful. If I had a couple suggestions, I’d ask the host to provide more towels. After hot tub and showers, towels were definitely limited and we had to wash a couple times. The hot water one the first and second levels was not too hot, but the 3rd floor water got very hot. We would definitely stay here again! Justin was super responsive and helpful! Great host."

We only had one issue with power going out for just under two hours but that wasn’t just our place, so not their fault. "My husband picked Justin's airbnb for us to stay at for our mini honeymoon in the smokies. The moment we arrived it looked just as it did in the pictures and were so pleased walking in to find everything super clean and having everything we needed for our stay. There were notes left around the cabin making it a breeze to figure out how to use anything. Through out the stay we imagined what it would be like to come back and stay with friends and family especially with how spacious it is and all the games to keep the fun alive. "Everything I imagined - The house was perfect! Clean, spacious, stocked, elegant! Everything worked. The AC, the hot water, water pressure, beds, fans, etc - everything you forget to ask about was all great! The kitchen was fully stocked - even had a keurig and little cups/plates for kids. Hot tub was on and such a nice way to relax! There was a little issue with the recliner in the movie area but nothing we couldn’t work around and Justin said they would be fixing now that they know an issue. Game room was fun! We turned the sauna on just to try it and it worked perfect as well. Justin warned me prior to arrival that the roadway was pretty steep getting to the house and it most definitely was but my van handled it okay. Had it been wet or snowing it may have been a different story. Wildlife was awesome as well - we got to see our very first bear! That was neat. Location was spot on. Took us no time to get where we wanted but was also secluded. We will definitely be back!! My only con would be that the master bedroom on top floor does not have a dresser so we had to live out of the suitcases. A dresser in the huge walk-in closet would be a nice touch."

"This house was amazing. Great amenities - exactly as described - and super clean. Very private, well taken care of, and absolutely worth the booking. Justin is extremely responsive and even proactively let us know that the cleaners were running a bit late, affecting our check-in time. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ Birchwood Lodge! It was the cleanest house we've rented in the few years of us vacationing in Airbnb's. Exceptionally clean! We had a couple of rainy days but everyone found something to entertain themselves with for hours while we waited out the rain. The view was beautiful from the top balcony. We should have brought beach towels for the hot tub. The bathroom towels are small, and Justin did tell us we should. We forgot them and regretted it with 3 kids to towel off. The game room and movie room downstairs were the highlight of my husband and kid's stay. Justin was very responsive and we appreciated it very much! The views are beautiful and we loved the location, perfect distance to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but secluded and peaceful up in the woods. "Awesome Stay! - Our trip in July was fantastic! My husband and I brought our 7 year old, our 15 year old and his friend, my 20 year old nephew and his girlfriend and my parents, so 9 people total. There was plenty of room so that no one felt cramped and the game room area with the bunk beds was a perfect hangout for the teenagers. This cabin is very well taken care of. Everything is updated and clean. We were very impressed! We will definitely stay here again!"

"Overall, the nicest cabin we have stayed in. It was very clean and homely. With all the games and home theatre, we barely wanted to leave to explore! I especially liked the hot tub and sauna. The beds were nice too, not like these cheap hard mattresses you usually get in other homes. This host spent a great deal of time and money on this rental and it shows in every aspect. "This place is fabulous. The location is great. It’s close to town, but still private. The view is amazing. The kitchen is well stocked. That’s important to us because we have a larger family. There were several pots that would work to cook for a crowd. There were even utensils for grilling! The beds were comfortable. "This cabin is beautiful and the scenery is wonderful. We loved all of the amenities - the game room, hot tub, and home theater. I had to work a little while I was there and the wi-fi was great, no issues at all. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to cook at few dinners in the cabin. The host was very responsive and quickly answered our questions. The communication was great and the recommendations for local entertainment was just what we needed. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Excellent home near Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area. It is very close to the main attractions. Home was clean and had pretty much all the amenities you would ever want/need. "This property was just as advertised (view is more stunning in person). This is an ideal stay for families. The host offers multiple indoor activities in case rain does not allow outdoor activities. In addition to what is pictured, the intangible touches place this property over the top. We arrived late in the day and, Justin left two Keurig pods so that I could make coffee in the morning. Justin was in contact with us several times prior to our stay and check-in went smoothly even with arrival after dark. It is close to activities but sufficiently distanced to allow privacy. I highly recommend this property."

"This cabin is one of the best rentals that we have ever stayed. The cabin is exactly the same as the pictures if not better. The location is really convenient, about 20 mins to great smoky national park, 10 mins to grocery stores and great restaurants. Yet, it is on a quiet hillside with beautiful Mountain View. There is absolutely no traffic noise, the only sound that we heard was wolves howling at night and bird chirping in the morning, quite surreal. The cabin is very clean and well stocked. It is very nicely decorated. The cabin also has various games that my kids absolutely enjoyed after a day at the park."
