Kitchen and Outdoor Cooking: The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware. We provide a standard coffee maker or a Keurig, so please bring along your preferred grounds or pods.
Regarding the Grill: While we often have a grill available for guest use, we cannot guarantee its availability or condition for every stay. If it is on-site, please note that propane/charcoal is the guest's responsibility. There may be some left over from previous guests, or you can pick some up at a local shop.

"Very nice clean and well-maintained cabin. Not overly decorated. Which was nice. They also were able to accommodate us with our request for extra night stay! Only small complaint is the kitchen seating was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to enjoy game nights and gathering to eat. We encountered 3 black bears during our stay and that was exciting except them "bear proof" trash cans outside are in fact not bear proof. So it was a mess to clean up after the bear got done snacking on our trash. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend this company and cabin!"

"Cabin was very nice and clean, we were so excited to see 2 bears! I do wish there was at least 1 kitchen wash cloth to be able to wash counters off. Another suggestion is to have a cupboard of most used seasonings or even some pan spray as every other air b and b I have stayed at they have those items! "The drive to this cabin is not for the weak. The front porch is nice for watching the sun rise. Super clean cabin. The master is spacious and very nice . The two other bedrooms just have a closet no dressers. Put your Littles in the bedroom with the bed without a boxspring - it is like sleeping on a board. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. There are no other basics. Not even a salt and pepper shaker. One pod for the dish washer and washer. Only 7 bath towels. The back deck is very nice. We spent the majority of our time at the cabin out there. We ate all of our meals outside. Great table with a propane fire ring, hot tub is small but decent. Gas grill was nice but you are responsible for filling the tank. Not really any view- all woods but very peaceful. Host is responsive. I asked if I could come in a day earlier than planned and leave a day earlier then planned. They let me change my date to come in early but then refused to let me change my end date"

The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. You can tell they take pride in their properties. It’s close to all the main attractions, yet you still get beautiful mountain views and a peaceful, natural setting. The neighborhood is quiet, and the cabin was fully stocked with everything clearly labeled for easy access. The drive up was easier than most other cabins we’ve visited and it was easy to find, even at night when we first arrived. The hosts were quick to respond and offered great recommendations. "We really enjoyed our stay. There's a few bad hills and curves coming into the property, but better location than a lot of other cabins we have stayed in. Everything was exactly as described, and pictured. The back porch was definitely our favorite part. The fire table was really nice! Awesome to sit around with friends...WE LOVED IT! However, we had a hard time getting it to light... we ended up having to switch out the propane tank with the one on the grill. The inside thermostat could use some instructions, that took a little figuring out being all digital. The ice maker in the freezer didn't seem to work or may have just been froze up, but other than that we had an absolutely wonderful stay for my birthday weekend with our friends. Thank you all for hosting us!"

"The drive up to the cabin is no joke, be prepared for some twists and steep inclines, but once you drive it a time or 2, you get used to it. It's totally worth the drive up, the views are amazing! The cabin is perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the park, or for spending time with family and friends. Well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and extra blankets for cold nights, hot tub and grill, and extra touches like everything is clearly labeled so you don't have to search for the right light switch! "Bearman’s cabin is the best!! We were originally supposed to stay at another cabin, but due to too much ice and snow making it unsafe to drive to that cabin, we had to be moved to this cabin. Shane and Justin were so responsive and helpful. I felt like they truly cared about us by cancelling the other cabin because they didn’t want us to be unsafe. Not going to lie, we were scared at first, because Bearman’s cabin wasn’t our first choice, but this cabin ended up being everything we wanted and so much more. We loved the bear theme decorations. We loved the area and how quiet it was. We loved the hot tub. We loved the view. The highlight was that it had a little arcade game in it. I could barely get my husband to stop playing!! We had so much fun and made so many memories. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Shane and Justin for being such great hosts & sharing your beautiful cabin with us."

"Great place mostly hidden in the hills. - From communication with the renting team beforehand to conversations during the stay the time at the cabin was good, welcomed, and a nice break from the madness of the holidays.The place is set off the main road, 1/2 way up the hills between Pigeon and Gatlinburg so makes a good base from which to explore either (with good access to the back ways into each which IS useful as both places can be as busy as heck) The cabin itself is nice, fitting for the area, cozy, and realistically has three bedrooms that can fit 4-6 folks. I’d not use the sofa unless really necessary as it’s in the main room. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms are open, have space and laid out well enough to house a busy family for the week. There’s enough space to breath for everyone, and the back deck AND hot tub offer a good escape (the deck wraps around to the front too which is nice.Bears ARE present so take all the necessary precautions, make sure no food in car AND that the rubbish bins are secured (had to do one clean up) Overall good place, happy to have been there and loved the space and peace."
